This period is particularly scenic, as blooming rhododendrons and other wildflowers add vibrant colors to the landscape, enhancing the visual appeal of the journey.
September to December (Autumn & Early Winter): Autumn brings crisp air and some of the clearest skies, offering panoramic views of the Dhauladhar range and the distant valleys. Daytime temperatures are comfortable, ranging from 15°C to 20°C, while nights can be cooler, dropping to around 5°C to 10°C. This season is favored by photographers and nature enthusiasts for its stunning sunsets and unobstructed mountain views.
December to February (Winter): For those seeking a snowy adventure, the winter months transform Triund into a snow-laden wonderland. The trek becomes more challenging as the route gets covered by snow, adding an extra layer of thrill to the experience.
July to August (Monsoon): The monsoon season brings heavy rainfall to the region, making the trails slippery and increasing the risk of landslides. Trekking during this period is generally discouraged due to safety concerns and reduced visibility.
