Thank you for choosing Navitra Travels for your trekking experience. We understand that plans may change, and therefore we have a fair and transparent Refund & Cancellation Policy. By booking a trek with us, you agree to the following terms.
1. Cancellation by Participant
If a participant wishes to cancel their booking, the following refund policy applies:
- 30 days or more before trek start date: 80% refund
- 15 to 29 days before trek start date: 50% refund
- 7 to 14 days before trek start date: 25% refund
- Less than 7 days before trek start date: No refund
- No Show / Last-minute dropout: No refund
2. Non-Refundable Components
The following charges are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- GST / Taxes
- Payment gateway / transaction charges
- Trek permits / forest fees
- Transport / accommodation booked in advance
- Service charges or processing fees
3. Cancellation Due to Medical or Personal Reasons
- No special refund applies for medical emergencies, injuries, travel issues, personal reasons, or any unforeseen circumstances.
- Participants may request trek date rescheduling, subject to availability and approval.
4. Cancellation or Modification by Company
Navitra Travels may cancel or modify a trek due to:
- Bad weather conditions
- Natural calamities
- Political issues / roadblocks
- Government restrictions
- Minimum group strength not achieved
- Safety concerns or operational reasons
- In such cases:
- We may offer an alternate trek/date
- Or provide a partial or full refund, depending on circumstances
- No compensation shall be provided for situations beyond our control (force majeure).
5. Refund Process
- Refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days after cancellation approval.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment source only.
6. Transfer of Booking
Treks are transferable to another person only if informed at least 10 days before departure, subject to approval.
7. Dropping Out During Trek
If a participant:
- Leaves the trek mid-way
- Is forced to abandon due to health / misconduct
- Fails to follow trek leader instructions
- No refund shall be provided under any circumstances.
8. No Liability Refund
Navitra Travels is not responsible for refunds caused by:
- Transport delays / cancellations
- Lost baggage
- Medical conditions
- Personal negligence
- Third-party service failure
